As part of the venue finding service we offer, a mother of the bride called me. Based in India, they were looking for a venue in Paris that was not a five star hotel. We had the pleasure at Audrey Ametis Weddings to visit three exceptional venues from the Potel et Chabot collection. These hidden gems are located at the superb place Vendome in Paris: Pavillon Cambon Capucines, and the Hotel d’Evreux (les salons classés) et Pavillon Vendome. Recently in the spotlight for hosting so-called ‘best football player in the world’ Neymar’s birthday bash, Potel et Chabot is known as one of the best high-end event catering companies in the world. They organise private receptions and corporate events in France and all around the world. They are renowned for being the caterers of choice for unique events such as Roland Garros and the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
The Pavillon Cambon Capucines is a place like no other. This superb venue historically used to be the headquarters of the national mortgage bank of France Crédit Foncier. Behind a door is the hidden secret: a superb venue with huge ceilings, and an impressive capacity of a maximum of 1,500 guests and multiple options. Notably, there is also a function room downstairs which can be transformed into a lounge/club, should you wish to. From the Pavillon Cambon Capucines, you can request access to the most beautiful garden - jardin francais.
Hotel d’Evreux is the second venue we had the honour of visiting. Are you looking for a mini-versailles in the centre of Paris, overlooking Place Vendome? Then look no further. Hotel d’Evreux, with its different salons, will accommodate all your dreams.
Potel et Chabot is synonymous with grandeur and tradition, having been around for over 200 years and also modernity as they have innovated and led with new ideas and trends. The superb Pavillon Vendome has an impressive door that opens up to a beautiful function room. We loved the idea at Audrey Ametis Weddings of using the huge former safe downstairs for a cool and trendy party!
It was a privilege to visit these venues and we are longing to going back to Paris and visit the other extraordinary venues in their portfolio: Pavillon Seine, Pavillon Gabriel and Pavillon Kleber.
